2 point perpectives

These are this week's drawings. I've taken two designs from last week and redrew them in two-point perspectives.

I created this design with vertical louvers for ventilation, as they are located on the east and west side, to aid with passive housing.

This building/bridge has a glass exterior in many of the spaces with room for greenery, passive solar gains, and aesthetic purposes.

Architectural theory

I read the article "Why Australia needs to join the Passive House movement", an argument I generally agreed with before I began reading. I picked out 3 words from the article that I used to create a theory I believe in:
"comfort", "efficiency", and "significant".

The theory:
Significant improvements in energy efficiency and living comfort would be achieved if passive housing became standardised in Australia, and would have great long term benefits.

This theory begins to answer the question: Why is Passive Housing important for Australian households?

18 sketches - Exp. 3

This week we drew 6 3-dimentional shapes in class, and redrew each shape from two different perspectives.
